Settings controls account switching safety and symbol mapping maintenance.

Account management

Current account name

• Used as the default export naming basis.
• Auto-saved when valid.

Load another account

• Select a .tradeslynt file.
• The app enforces a save-before-switch step.
• You can review account metadata before confirming load.

Start new empty account

• Clears loaded account data and starts fresh.
• Mandatory save step protects against accidental loss.

Instrument symbol mapping

• Map broker import identifiers (for example ISIN) to TradingView symbols.
• Review unmapped identifiers and assign symbols.
• Remove outdated mappings when instrument data changes.

Backup best practice

Export account files regularly, especially before major imports or strategy restructuring.
